Server Mobo died. But I have an interesting idea...

So this beast of a server had the motherboard kick the bucket. So I have been trying to figure out what to do. 

My plan is to pickup a Qnap to replace the server but of course currently all my files are in drivepool on the hard drives. 

I have a Win7 PC that I could install all the drives into. 

Can I install drivepool onto Windows 7 desktop, run the drivepool recovery program to setup the pool on the win7 pc?
